1. Use of the software

SCANPASS is a utility for scanning, interpreting, recording, organizing, printing, and transferring QR-related information. You are responsible for how you use the application and for the content you choose to scan or transfer.

2. Local storage

SCANPASS is designed around local, offline-first storage. Features that intentionally use a local network, such as device-to-device transfers, require the participating devices and network to function correctly.

3. QR content

SCANPASS does not guarantee that information encoded in a QR code is accurate, safe, current, or trustworthy. A QR code may contain a website, contact information, credentials, or other content supplied by someone else.

4. Transfers

When a local transfer feature is used, you are responsible for choosing the file and recipient device. Do not transfer files you do not have permission to share.

5. Availability

The software is provided as-is. Features, supported Android versions, and compatibility may change between releases.
